OUR STORY
A better way to connect two sides of an industry.
My whole career has been about helping people navigate complex markets.
Understanding who they are, what they need and what matters to them, then filtering through the options and helping them find the ones that are actually relevant.
For more than 20 years, I've done that in mortgage broking.
It's an industry built on relationships. Between lenders and borrowers. Between people with a need and businesses that can meet it. My role has always been to understand both sides well enough to help bring the right people together.
And somewhere along the way, I realised that what I know really well isn't just finance.
I know how people make big decisions.
I know what happens when there are too many options. I know the value of asking the right questions before you start looking for answers. And I know how much easier a complex decision becomes when someone has already done the work of filtering out what isn't relevant.
Most importantly, I know that making someone's life easier doesn't mean taking the decision away from them.
It means giving them enough clarity to make it confidently.
When I looked at the wedding industry, I saw an incredibly talented industry full of exceptional businesses.
But I also saw couples being asked to navigate it largely on their own.
Search hundreds of venues. Compare dozens of photographers. Send enquiries. Wait for replies. Work out what things cost. Try to understand what they need before they really know what they're creating.
And I kept thinking:
There has to be a better way to connect these two sides.
That became Weddings Without Fuss.
We start by understanding the couple and the wedding they want to create. We give them direction before asking them to make decisions. And then we help connect them with relevant venues and vendors who can help bring it together.
It's a different industry.
But the principle behind it is something I've spent my whole career understanding:
Know the person first. Understand what they need. Then help them find the right way forward.
