This Partner Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets out the behavioural and professional standards expected of all Partners who participate in the Weddings Without Fuss platform. Partner has the meaning given in the WWFuss Partner Agreement: any business that pays to participate in WWFuss, including venues, vendors and other paid service listings.
By creating a Partner account, paying the joining fee, subscribing to platform features, or engaging with couples through WWFuss, you agree to comply with this Code. This Code sits alongside the Partner Agreement. Where the two cover the same ground, the Partner Agreement prevails.
1. Purpose of This Code
The Partner Agreement sets out what Partners must do. This Code sets out how Partners are expected to behave: toward couples, toward each other, and in how they represent their involvement with WWFuss.
WWFuss helps couples make wedding decisions with confidence and clarity. Partners are the people couples meet as a result. This Code exists so that experience is a consistently good one.
2. Behaviour Toward Couples
Partners must:
- treat all couples with respect, regardless of background, identity or preferences
- support couples in making their own informed decisions
- recognise that wedding planning matters to the people doing it
- avoid judgemental, dismissive or coercive behaviour
- avoid pressurised sales tactics
Partners must not make a couple feel rushed, diminished or obliged.
3. Behaviour Toward Other Partners
Partners agree to:
- behave professionally when interacting with other Partners
- avoid negative commentary, harassment or competitive hostility
- respect the collaborative nature of the wedding industry
WWFuss does not tolerate Partner-to-Partner conflict within the platform.
4. Representing WWFuss
Partners may:
- share their WWFuss participation on social media
- promote their involvement in the platform
- use approved WWFuss branding assets where these are provided
Partners must not:
- imply that WWFuss endorses, guarantees or vouches for their services
- suggest that WWFuss ranks or rates Partners
- suggest that payment secures recommendation or placement
- use WWFuss branding in misleading ways
WWFuss presents relevant options to couples. It does not rank Partners, and it does not endorse them.
5. Use of the Platform
Partners must:
- use the platform for legitimate business purposes
- keep their profile active and accurate
- respect platform functionality and boundaries
Partners must not:
- attempt to bypass platform processes or systems
- scrape or copy platform content
- interfere with platform security
- attempt to access data they are not authorised to view
- misuse information generated by a couple’s First Look
6. Service Delivery
Partners agree to:
- deliver services with reasonable care and skill
- honour confirmed bookings and agreements
- communicate promptly if circumstances change
- manage cancellations or rescheduling professionally and fairly
WWFuss takes no part in contract negotiation or service delivery. All agreements between couples and Partners are strictly between those parties.
7. Breaches of This Code
If a Partner breaches this Code, WWFuss may:
- request corrective action
- temporarily suspend Partner access
- remove a Partner profile
- terminate Partner participation
Serious breaches may result in permanent removal from the platform. Removal for breach does not entitle a Partner to any refund. Refunds are dealt with in clause 5 of the Partner Agreement.
8. Changes to This Code
WWFuss may update this Code to reflect platform improvements, legal requirements or industry standards.
Material changes take effect on at least one month’s written notice. A Partner who does not accept a material change may end their participation before it takes effect, on the terms set out in the Partner Agreement. Minor changes take effect on publication.
